Forecast: Deep monsoonal moisture will move over the area starting this morning (Monday) and go throughout the day. Storm cells forming within this watch area for the Sierra Nevada through the CA/NV Deserts will be capable of heavy rainfall in a short period of time that will lead to very high risk flood conditions.
Hail up to 0.75″ is possible with this as well… but not enough for severe thunderstorm watches … Anyone traveling in the Sierras or along any highway in CA/NV’s watch zone, including 395 should use caution.
