National Weather Force has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for the Texas Panhandle, effective 10pm tonight and lasting until noon on Sunday.
An arctic front moving down from Canada that has brought winter storms through the Pacific Northwest to Northern Plains will move in tonight. This will move over the advisory zone where ground temperatures will be freezing. This will center Amarillo as the highest densely populated zone. Not much is expected, but a up to 0.10″ can be expected, which will lead to slick roadways off the interstates.
