Severe Thunderstorms, including Damaging Winds, Large Hail, and Tornadoes Expected for Missouri This Evening through Sunday Morning

National Weather Force has issued a Tornado Watch, effective this evening through Sunday morning.

Zones affected:  West, Southwest, and Southern Missouri.

Discussion:  A system out of the Western United States will bring severe thunderstorms and tornadoes across Northeastern Colorado and Kansas this evening and tonight.  At the same time this system is progressing eastward, the chance of severe thunderstorms forming out ahead of it will be likely across the watch area.  Severe Thunderstorms capable of damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be likely through the evening and especially the overnight period, ending after sunrise Sunday morning.
