National Weather Force’s Pacific Northwest Weather Force sector is monitoring a cold upper-level low pressure system that will bring some mountain snow (Yes mountain snow in June) will be moving through on Friday into Saturday. There is a good chance of heavier rainfall in the Western Washington and Oregon zones. Given the instability factors, we will have a chance of thunderstorms there on your Friday, with thunderstorms moving into the Central and Eastern parts of Oregon on Saturday.
Given the averages, we can see the following numbers for rainfall with this system for the metros of Western Washington and Oregon being anywhere from 0.30″ – 0.75″, with more in the thunderstorms.
