Discussion: Sea-breeze convergence will be stronger than usual today, with the convergence line being from north to south along and just west of the ‘Space Coast’. Given the convergence strength, severe thunderstorm development is certain in the watch area. Isolated tornadic dynamics does also exist.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is issued at National Weather Force when conditions are favorable for quarter-sized hail, damaging winds over 55 mph, and tornadoes (if mentioned), and issued custom to you for the best lead-time possible.
