National Weather Force has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective now until midnight for the Texas Panhandle.
A system coming out of the west will move into the region today. Thunderstorms along a frontal boundary moving from west to east will form.. These storms can have the power to produce damaging winds and large hail in and around the watch area.
Damaging winds; large hail, flooding, and even an isolated tornado risk will be the mode today. The activity will exit the watch zone into Oklahoma after midnight local time.
