National Weather Force has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective this afternoon through the later evening across parts of Western Idaho (including Boise), Eastern Oregon, and Northern Nevada.
An upper-level system will bring the instability and lift for thunderstorm to form in the watch area, starting from Nevada, and moving northward through Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho. Storms will vacate the area overnight as instability wans.
